Are there animals (pets) in heaven? YES. God loves ALL of His creations. Animals have always played an important role in God's Word. Jesus is the Lamb of God. The Holy Spirit is a Dove...and the symbol for peace. Jesus rode into Jerusalem on a donkey....the fish is the symbol for Christianity. The best answer to this question can be found in Isaiah 11: 6-7:" The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little child shall lead them. And the cow and the bear shall feed; their young ones shall lie down together; and the lion shall eat straw like the ox". Animals will no longer be carnivores. This describes the Eternal Kingdom, for God goes on to say of the wicked, "They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain; for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea". Many animals possess more intellect and wisdom than some people, thus indicating they certainly have souls...therefore it stands to reason that the Isaiah prophecy will certainly be fulfilled. We should be assured of this, for in Hebrews 6: 18, it declares that it is impossible for God to lie. Does the Bible support reincarnation? No. Hebrews 9: 24- 28: "For Christ is not entered into the holy places made with hands, which are the figures of the true, but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us: Nor yet that he should offer himself often, as the high priest entereth into the holy place every year with blood of others; For then must he often have suffered since the foundation of the world; but now once in the end of the world hath he appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself. And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment: So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation". After the judgment, of course, would come the "second death"...or death of the soul itself...of the wicked and ungodly. Did God travel in a UFO? According to Ezekiel...YES. In Ezekiel 1...he declared: "And I looked, and, behold, a whirlwind came out of the north, a great cloud, and a fire infolding itself, and a brightness was about it, and out of the midst thereof as the colour of amber, out of the midst of the fire". He also described some of the moving creatures (parts) as sparkling "like the colour of burnished brass". This vehicle had wheels and "wings"...and went in all different directions. Out of it went forth lightning and..." when the living creatures were lifted up from the earth, the wheels were lifted up". Ezekiel's description was magnificent for such an ancient man who had never seen anything more technical than an ox pulling a cart! The noise of their wings was like the noise of great waters and, "when they stood, they let down their wings". "And above the firmament that was over their heads was the likeness of a throne, as the appearance of a sapphire stone; and upon the likeness of the throne was the likeness as the appearance of a man above upon it......As the appearance of the bow that is in the cloud in the day of rain, so was the appearance of the brightness round about. This was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of the LORD. And when I saw it, I fell upon my face, and I heard a voice of one that spake". The "glory of the LORD" was familiar to Ezekiel as the Shekinah glory. Then God spoke to him...after insisting that Ezekiel stand upon his feet. "Amber" in the Hebrew is "chashmal"...meaning bronze or polished spectrum metal. A whirlwind is also what was described as having taken Elijah up...when he was translated to heaven. When God led Israel out of Egypt, He "went before them by day in a pillar of a cloud, to lead them the way; and by night in a pillar of fire, to give them light; to go by day and night: He took not away the pillar of the cloud by day, nor the pillar of fire by night, from before the people". Exodus 13: 21-22. Pillar in the Hebrew is a standing column or platform ("ammuwd"). If such vehicles were seen then, they are certainly seen by man today. Maybe we're not so crazy after all! Could this have been the same mode of transportation used by the fallen angels...who "kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation"? The probability of UFO's in ancient times would surely account for the many mysteries all over the world that cannot be explained any other way. How did the people (souls) who lived before Christ receive salvation? Jesus went and preached to them. After His death and Resurrection, Jesus, in His quickened spiritual body, offered eternal salvation to all long departed souls. "But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ. Wherefore he saith, When he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men. (Now that he ascended, what is it but that he also descended first into the lower parts of the earth? He that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens, that he might fill all things.)" Ephesians 4: 7- 10. Peter confirmed this with: " For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit: By which also he went and preached unto the spirits in prison; Which sometime were disobedient..." I Peter 3: 18- 20.
